“Honestly… INCREDIBLE! I won the Christmas contest on Instagram in December 2024 and received an iontophoresis device from this brand (Hidroxa), and I’m absolutely thrilled! I suffer from palmar hyperhidrosis, affecting my feet, hands, and armpits. So far, I’ve only treated my hands because my feet are in bad shape due to safety shoes, so I need to wait for them to heal. And honestly… I’ve been using it for a little over a month now, and it works! My hands sweat way, way less. Even in winter, I used to sweat while just sitting on the couch watching TV, doing nothing… Now, I have no more issues, even in situations of anxiety or stress. I still feel like I’m sweating, but when I touch my hands—nothing! Just the sensation, but they’re completely dry! This is truly life-changing, I promise. I hope by summer I won’t have any issues at all! I’ll update you later, but honestly, if I had seen a review like mine before getting this device, I would have bought it even considering the price! I also had the chance to try the IONOMAT device (French brand), but midway through the treatment, the current changes and it stings! I’m not sensitive to pain, but it was really, really painful! With HIDROXA, no pain at all, it’s amazing. It’s not biphasic, so there’s no pain, no current change during treatment, and no electric shock when stopping! It’s PERFECT! I swear I’m not exaggerating, and I’m not paid to say this, but if my review helps someone take the leap despite the €450 price tag… ???? Important Notes: I started by setting the dial to 2—felt nothing. So I increased it to 3, but be careful! If you set the dial to 3, the actual voltage will be 5-6. I gradually increased: 2 → 2.2 → 2.4 → slightly above 3. Another tip: I apply Vaseline on my fingertips and nails (I’ve bitten my nails since I was a kid). If the current is too strong, it can be painful and surprising! If you add salt to the water, be careful! The displayed voltage stays the same, but the sensation will be much stronger! Conclusion: Go for it! It will change your life.”

“If you're like me a few weeks ago, you're desperate and searching for answers as to how to fix your sweaty hands. You don't want to have to excuse yourself from shaking new people's hands for fear they'll be grossed out or think less of you. You want to be able to hold someone's hand on a first date or clasp hands with a friend in celebration, without feeling self concious. I know, it sucks. I was desperate for a solution and found out through my doctor and online researching about botox injections and the cutting of the nerve operation, both of which seemed HORRENDOUS. I asked my doctor about ionthophoresis and he dismissed it, but I took the chance anyway after reading some reddit reviews and I have to say thank god I did! Its been a few weeks now, and ive tested my hands through all of the previous triggers, nights out, gym sessions, anxious bus rides filled with people etc. and in all of these cases my sweating has been significantly reduced, if not completely prevented. My sweating is predominantly in the hands and feet and was triggered mainly by anxiety. Since getting the Hidroxa machine, I was able to slowly raise the setting each day up until around 28 mHA (setting 8 on the machine) and now do that once every 3 days for effective treatment of my hyperhidrosis. My personal tip: Use sparkling mineral water if not seeing results, the extra minerals seemed to help and takes the guess work out of if your water is hard or not. I know this all seems so weird and good to be true, mineral water? electrical currents? how is that going to help my hands? Trust me, I had those questions too but it weirdly works! For me personally i started seeing results after getting to a higher voltage around 8 or 9 days after starting treatment. and hey, if it doesnt work for you it seems like other users have successfully gotten their money back so what's the harm! “I came across the Hidroxa SE20 when I decided to start looking for palmar hyperhidrosis solutions once again. I got directed to their site and found their iontophoresis device. I noticed they had an option to pay £35 a month with a non-financial agreement (payment plan). I instantly decided to start reading reviews and I was sold straight away! I ordered the device and it arrived in 5 days, from Sweden to the UK! They were even kind enough to send me a VAT exemption form which saved me £82 in import fees! After the very first day of using this device my hands were dry! I am now on day 9 of using this and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been using around 10-14mA on pulsed current. At first I was using tap water with a teaspoon of salt in each container and it has been working great. But I’ve been informed that bottled mineral water (Volvic for me) works even better and doesn’t require salt. This will work better for me as I tend to get little cuts and scrapes on my hands from work. I use Vaseline to cover them so they don’t steal the current or sting. “Cheaper than Botox and just as effective I'm a 17-year-old guy. I previously received Botox in my hands, but the effect only lasted about a month. For me, this machine works better than Botox because the results last as long as you use it regularly. It takes a while before you start noticing effects, but once it kicks in, the results are at least as good as with Botox. It's a bit time-consuming, but for me, it's worth it. The yellow electrode pouches wear out after a while and need to be replaced. The machine can be used alone, but you shouldn't lift your hands during treatment, as that doesn’t feel very pleasant...”

I asked a few questions in their chat before ordering, and I have to say, their customer service is 100% excellent! When the machine arrived, I got started. After a couple of weeks, I noticed results, but the pain on the backs of my hands was almost unbearable. Unfortunately, I lost some effectiveness because I had to lower the intensity to tolerate the treatments. BUT, after reaching out to customer service again, they gave me some great tips on how to adjust the treatment. Now, I add baking soda & salt to the water. Instead of filling the trays, I only fill them enough to cover the electrode pockets and rest my hands on them. It took some time to experiment and adjust, but now it works perfectly! The reason for the missing last star is that I spent several months communicating with the company to get a replacement battery charger, as the original one was defective. “5 day use, 14 days sweat free:) I give this four stars as it has most definitely worked, I used it for five days straight and have gone for two weeks without excessive palm-sweating. This is fantastic! However I must notify that if you feel any pain similar to a razor blade cutting your skin take your hands out. I did not take them out on the fifth day and ended up with a deep cavity where the electricity burned through. It healed without issues though. I use direct current at an intensity of 7 or greater. This might be painful for the first minute or so, but the pain fades quickly. It has done what it promised and I'm grateful for the gift of having dry hands even on rollercoasters or while gaming. All in all a great product and it was worth the price.”

“The machine doesn’t work well enough for me (Edited) I thought the machine worked great at first, but now I feel like it no longer gives the same results, even though I haven’t changed anything in how I do the treatment. For my feet, they are 80% sweat-free, and I’m happy with that result. But for my hands, they are only about 40% sweat-free. If you have milder sweating, the machine will likely work well, but if you have severe sweating, you might not achieve 100% results—though it can still help reduce the sweating. I will continue using the machine since I don’t have any other alternative.”
