Hidroxa Armpits Iontophoresis Machine

I ordered the device on August 13, and I am a patient person, but given the circumstances I just can't take it anymore, because this is a device that is supposed to fix not only an insecurity but a social problem. So change your delivery terms and write that it can also take more than 2 weeks in rare cases — but that those cases do exist, and of course this happened to me, the unlucky one this time. Anyway, today is August 31, it should arrive tomorrow, hoping it arrives tomorrow

Hi thank God I'm delighted to have received the machine. I started seeing results after 10 days — really, the machine has improved my life. I hope it will give even more results

So having spent £349 on this machine, I then had to spend a further £89 on import tax. The first machine didn’t work at all - it didn’t even switch on. I had to send a video of it not working, before the company would even consider exchanging it. Their response time was slow, so this all took ages. When they sent me a replacement, I had to pay the import tax again. I contacted them to say that it was unfair that I had it pay it twice, as it was their fault that they had sent me a faulty machine. There was no response from them for ages, but after a fortnight, they said that they would ‘cover it’ for me. Eventually, after 3 reminders from Fed Ex about the unpaid import tax bill, I had to pay it myself, as Hidroxa had apparently refused. Does the machine actually work? Well for me, not really, no. I’ve used it consistently for weeks now, and I can’t see any real difference. The machine itself feels cheap and plasticky, and there is no indication of when the batteries are sufficiently charged. You have to use a timer, or risk overcharging them. So no, I do not recommend.

Beware of hidden and unexplained charges if you are a UK customer! I ordered a product from this company with via a .co.uk website which used the term “ free shipping”. I completed a VAT exemption form. Notwithstanding this I have now been hit with a further invoice of £87.03 from FedEx that neither them or Hidroxa ( Sweden based) have managed to explain. I’m either being charged for the delivery, VAT ( which in this case I’m exempt from) or it’s some form of other import charge or duty Whichever it is be very careful if you are a UK customer as there appear to be massive hidden charges not clearly explained to you in bold when you click to purchase The customer service is dubious and I await a satisfactory detailed explanation. They reply rapidly but cannot explain themselves. This has been on- going for weeks without anyone being able to explain PRECISELY what the further charge is for. As an aside to date despite my 14 yr old daughter following instructions there has been no noticeable improvement to her condition ( approx 1 month of use)

After 1 month I am still not experiencing any dramatic change like others ... I assume the sweating is less but I am still sweating, I was not sure if I am using the machine correctly so I asked several questions to customer support. Their response was minimum, not a super friendly support. For the price I paid I expected more... Maybe I am just stupid and not understanding the manual. (I assume I am using it correctly but still not 100% sure) I have some 20 days to go, so I should decide quickly to return or not, I also feel for the people who are not having amazing experience 50 days free return is too short. (full 2 months would be better)

Not working as advertised. Tried everything still not working. The machine also feels and looks cheap.

Honestly.. INCREDIBLE! I won the Christmas contest in December 2024 on Instagram — I won an iontophoresis device from this brand (Hidroxa) and I am SOLD! I have issues with palmar hyperhidrosis, so feet, hands and underarms. Currently I've only done the treatment on my hands because my feet are in bad shape from safety shoes so everything needs to heal.. And honestly.. I've been using it for a little over a month and it works! I sweat much, much less from my hands. Currently in winter I used to sweat from my hands on the sofa in front of the TV doing nothing… I no longer have a problem — even with anxiety or stress I feel like my hands are sweating but when I touch them, not at all! Just the sensation but they're dry! It changes a life, I assure you. I hope this summer I won't have any problem at all! I'll give you another update, but I assure you, if I'd had a review like mine before receiving this device, I would have bought it even despite the price! I had the chance to try the IONOMAT device (French) but the current switches halfway through the treatment and it stings! I'm not a wimp but I was in really, really bad pain! With HIDROXA, no pain at all — it's wonderful, it's not biphasic so no pain, no current change during treatment, no electric shock when stopping! It's WONDERFUL! I assure you I'm not exaggerating, and I'm not paid to write this review either, but if it can help people get past the €450 hurdle.. 😕 WARNING: I started with the dial at 2, I felt nothing, so I increased to 3 — but be careful, if the dial is on three, the voltage won't be 3 but 5/6, so I did 2 then about 2.2, then 2/4 etc.. And I stopped a little above three. Another thing: I put Vaseline on each fingertip, on the nails (I've bitten my nails since I was little) so there you go! If the current is too strong it hurts quite a bit and especially surprises you! And if you put salt in the water be careful — it throws everything off! The displayed voltage will be the same BUT the sensation will change and it will feel stronger! CONCLUSION: Go for it, it will change your life..

Was a bit skeptical but gave it a chance. It took a long time, several weeks, before I felt any effect. Now 1–2 times a week is enough. Helpful customer service. I have the skin condition Keratodermia palmo plantaris which may have made it take longer before it worked.

Bought an iontophoresis device for our 17-year-old son with sweating mainly in his hands. Our son is very happy!! He has previously tried botox (three times), which also worked well. But unfortunately the botox wore off after two months.

Terrible experience. I ordered the device on November 9. Today is December 8 and I still haven't received the email confirming shipment. I'm starting to suspect it's all a scam. They advertise satisfaction or refund within 50 days, but almost 30 days after ordering I still don't even have confirmation that the device has been shipped to me!

It's absolutely fantastic to get help with this problem that I've suffered from throughout my youth. It makes me feel so much better when I have dry hands (not sweaty). The only downside is that I don't really have the energy to do the treatment regularly, and then I have to start over and do many days in a row and it goes a bit so-so. But that's probably just laziness.

I've solved my bothersome problem with constantly clammy and wet hands, especially when I had to be in physical contact with other people (handshakes, dancing etc.). I noticed an effect already after 1 week, and have since used the machine on/off a few times for maintenance. I don't even know if that has been necessary, because I haven't experienced wet hands that way at all since starting. On that basis I'd like to give the device 5 stars. The reason for the missing last star is that for several months I've been corresponding with the company about getting a new battery charger that was defective. That process has been extremely frustrating and annoying, but finally the charger found its way from Sweden to Denmark. It doesn't even take that long with goods from China!!

I've used the machine for one and a half months now and my condition has improved tremendously. Where before, I was sliding on my yoga mat because my hands and feet were too wet, I now need to wet my hands with water to have enough grip to not slide because my hands are too dry. Although, after one and a half months of daily (except 2, 3 times) treatment on all three regions (hands, armpits, feet), I notice that my hands and feet still get sweaty randomly during the day, or when I apply cream to them, just as it was before. But the sweat-level has lessened massively and is not as annoying as before. The one star deduction is because I feel like I'm stagnating for a few weeks now on this level, where I cannot seem to reach my end goal of no sweat in these situations I described, so that I can reduce the treatment from daily to every two days, to once a week and so on until I reach the holy once a month, as was written on their website. But overall, Hidroxa has definitely changed my life for the better and I recommend buying the product.

I had tried everything, sprays, creams, botox etc. The Hidroxa machine was by far the best of them all and also cost-efficient in comparison to botox/medicines. I am really in awe! I wonder if it will still have the same effects in warmer weather but for now I am loving it.

I don't really know where to start, but I really want to express my gratitude. Thanks to Hidroxa I can now feel "normal" again. I had excessive sweating most of my life, hands and feet, it was embarrasing to go to somebodys house, remove shoes and wet feet and socks. I suffer from heavy sweating on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet and decided to try Hidroxa. After about 8 daily treatments of 20 minutes each, the sweating has reduced very significantly. Neither during sport nor in heat do I sweat even remotely as much as before. Sometimes my hands and feet are completely pleasantly dry for days. Today I still do the treatment about 2–3 times a week flexibly, as I need it. I'm totally satisfied with the result and will definitely continue the treatment, as it fits well into everyday life in the evenings.

It worked well for three years but now suddenly it won't turn on even though it's charged.

I have an issue. Just sitting and drinking coffee would cause me to start sweating. But it was really intense and in intervals, and I didn't know what the reason was. I have been using Hidroxa for a week every day for 20 minutes, and I can already see results. I can almost go through a whole day without sweating; if it happens, it's minimal and barely noticeable. It helped me, and I will use it for two more weeks until it stops. After this period, I believe I will only use it occasionally to keep it under control. Thank you to the whole Hidroxa team for making a product that solves real problems.

Have used this on my feet for 40 minutes every evening for 16 days and haven't got the result I had hoped for. I notice a little improvement, but I still have to wash my feet and change socks during the day. Since I never get full effect I can't reduce the treatment course either, so this becomes extremely time-consuming. Considering sending my Hidroxa back and going back to botox injections unfortunately.

After just 3weeks of use, first positive results in decreasing of sweaty hands are seen.

I've only had the device for 3 weeks but from the very first use I saw real changes. I do every treatment with continuous current — even if it's not very pleasant I recommend it if you want a lasting result. For the underarms I prefer to use alternating current because it's gentler, but again it depends on each person's needs. Anyway I recommend this device because thanks to it I feel better, I no longer soak paper like before and I can hold a pen. Consistency is what gives results. I already had problems with excessive sweating in childhood, especially on the palms. A few weeks ago I decided to buy the device and try it, and after just two weeks I noticed a big improvement — I now only use the device about twice a week. Soon I'll also try the device on the underarms, which will surely spare me from using aluminium deodorants.

Works very well. After going to the health centre for similar treatment for several years, it feels good to be able to do the same thing at home. They are quick to answer questions and do everything to help you.

This device changed my daughters life. She finally has the confidence to shake someones hand. Results showed within the first few weeks and after 2 months her ands and feet were completely dry. She also uses it for her underarms and can now wear other colours aside from black! It does take some dedication for the first few months, after that its not a problem to skip a day or two.

I purchased this device after trying creams and deodorants for handling palms sweating, and also baby powder, but the results were very limiting. After using the device for 15 days, my hands are finally really dry. PC current is used, and first couple of days it was set on 3 or 4. After that, I started raising it, and now it is 6 or 7. It is important to switch current outputs every other day (by plugging red cable into black output and vice versa) to treat hands equally. I didn't do it at first, and I noticed my left hand was much drier than my right hand. Also, sometimes I was using salt, but it can lead to a feeling of a little burning in your palm. Plain water is just as good if it is "hard". All in all, great experience so far. I am still adapting to dryness :). Now, I will, after a few more treatments stop using it, until sweating starts again.

If you're like me a few weeks ago, you're desperate and searching for answers as to how to fix your sweaty hands. You don't want to have to excuse yourself from shaking new people's hands for fear they'll be grossed out or think less of you. You want to be able to hold someone's hand on a first date or clasp hands with a friend in celebration, without feeling self concious. I know, it sucks. I was desperate for a solution and found out through my doctor and online researching about botox injections and the cutting of the nerve operation, both of which seemed HORRENDOUS. I asked my doctor about ionthophoresis and he dismissed it, but I took the chance anyway after reading some reddit reviews and I have to say thank god I did! Its been a few weeks now, and ive tested my hands through all of the previous triggers, nights out, gym sessions, anxious bus rides filled with people etc. and in all of these cases my sweating has been significantly reduced, if not completely prevented. My sweating is predominantly in the hands and feet and was triggered mainly by anxiety. Since getting the Hidroxa machine, I was able to slowly raise the setting each day up until around 28 mHA (setting 8 on the machine) and now do that once every 3 days for effective treatment of my hyperhidrosis. My personal tip: Use sparkling mineral water if not seeing results, the extra minerals seemed to help and takes the guess work out of if your water is hard or not. I know this all seems so weird and good to be true, mineral water? electrical currents? how is that going to help my hands? Trust me, I had those questions too but it weirdly works! For me personally i started seeing results after getting to a higher voltage around 8 or 9 days after starting treatment. and hey, if it doesnt work for you it seems like other users have successfully gotten their money back so what's the harm! I was really looking forward to experiencing the product. I kept trying for months, but no matter how often I did it, with all the different settings, it did not help. Therefore I would use the “get your money back if it doesn’t work” service. However they would not help me because I have tried the product for too long. Very disappointed since it is a very expensive product, and I just wouldn’t return it before I was sure that it wouldn’t help.

My level of hyperhidrosis isn't very severe, but throughout the day it becomes bothersome. Both the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet keep sweating, and even doing yoga or sitting in front of a computer makes me aware of the sweat and the discomfort. I've tried to solve the problem with pills, but they weren't entirely effective for me, and between the side effects and the idea of having to take medication that only half works, I preferred to look for another solution. This winter I decided and tried iontophoresis — I have to say that in just a few sessions I already noticed noticeable results. I probably should have completed the treatment exactly as indicated, but I was content with the results obtained and how long they lasted. Now, with the arrival of the heat, I have problems again and this time yes, I will do the treatment exactly as indicated. The treatment itself isn't painful — it can be a bit uncomfortable and it's more about having to sit there for 20 minutes doing it. But I also think it's a very valid solution to something that for many people is a quite disabling condition. The device looks solid and of good quality. Shipping was fast and communication with Hidroxa customer service was very, very good — they helped me during the purchase process and always respond with professionalism and kindness. I would definitely recommend it :)

With good information on the website, a detailed user manual and a large dose of endurance, the machine has absolutely lived up to expectations — worth the investment!

I came across the Hidroxa SE20 when I decided to start looking for palmar hyperhidrosis solutions once again. I got directed to their site and found their iontophoresis device. I noticed they had an option to pay £35 a month with a non-financial agreement (payment plan). I instantly decided to start reading reviews and I was sold straight away! I ordered the device and it arrived in 5 days, from Sweden to the UK! They were even kind enough to send me a VAT exemption form which saved me £82 in import fees! After the very first day of using this device my hands were dry! I am now on day 9 of using this and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been using around 10-14mA on pulsed current. At first I was using tap water with a teaspoon of salt in each container and it has been working great. But I’ve been informed that bottled mineral water (Volvic for me) works even better and doesn’t require salt. This will work better for me as I tend to get little cuts and scrapes on my hands from work. I use Vaseline to cover them so they don’t steal the current or sting. I would recommend this to anyone with my condition. The customer service from Hidroxa is phenomenal. I’ve had multiple questions and they’ve been answered via email quickly.

I just received the machine and it does not even turn on, the materials of the machine are very low quality. Extremely dissatisfied with my purchase.

My child has hard-to-treat hyperhidrosis — they sweat from the hands which strongly limits their life. With the help of this machine quality of life has been raised enormously. The problem is relieved and they can get some relief for a few days. So it feels good that we bought this.

Finally there's help to be had! Have used this now for 6 months and notice a big difference. After many years of problems and reduced quality of life I can finally relax! Thank you

IT WORKS IT WORKS IT WORKS!! I was a bit skeptical because over my 37 years I've tried everything to stop the sweating of hands and feet, which caused me enormous discomfort both personally and especially regarding contact with people — like a simple handshake, or not being able to wear certain shoes because I was sliding... And instead HIDROXA really worked — after about 10/12 treatments hands and feet became completely dry, and you can't imagine my joy at finally experiencing that sensation that for so many is normal... thank you HIDROXA, I'd almost say miraculous!!

Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I tried the device for about 2 months and unfortunately noticed almost no improvement, even though I followed the instructions. Hence the low stars. However two stars for fast delivery and an excellent device with a simple look that is user-friendly.

I give this four stars as it has most definitely worked, I used it for five days straight and have gone for two weeks without excessive palm-sweating. This is fantastic! However I must notify that if you feel any pain similar to a razor blade cutting your skin take your hands out. I did not take them out on the fifth day and ended up with a deep cavity where the electricity burned through. It healed without issues though. I use direct current at an intensity of 7 or greater. This might be painful for the first minute or so, but the pain fades quickly. It has done what it promised and I'm grateful for the gift of having dry hands even on rollercoasters or while gaming. All in all a great product and it was worth the price.

The customer support of Hidroxa is truly amazing. I wanted to import the machine and the import required several official documents, which were immediately supplied by Hidroxa. Unfortunately I still wasn't able to import the device and yet Hidroxa helped quickly to deal with the return via the shipping company. When the machine arrived at their warehouse, I was immediately refunded the whole invoice amount. I've never dealt with a more dedicated customer support!

Finally! After many years of problems I finally tried this method against my underarm sweating. Works surprisingly well, and my problems disappeared completely. Now after about three years of use it seems the effect has decreased a little, but that may also be because I haven't been as careful with regular use. Strongly recommend!

It took a bit longer than expected to notice the effects (three weeks), but it has worked well for me. It's true that it's a bit of a hassle to have to deal with the currents for life, but that's a limitation of iontophoresis itself and not Hidroxa's fault. I've struggled with excessive sweating for many years. When this product was presented as an option I chose to give it a try. I'm incredibly grateful that I did. It took a couple of weeks before I got a good effect. I contacted Hidroxa along the way for guidance and got help quickly. When the effect kicked in it was very good. I've almost completely stopped sweating on hands and feet. Now I do the treatment every other day. At one point I broke one of the cables. I contacted Hidroxa again, who sent new cables the same day! I'm incredibly satisfied with both the equipment and customer service, and recommend everyone in the same situation to give it a try!

Sometimes, without knowing why, it gets stuck/blocked. When you turn the dial for the current to start flowing, it doesn't go up, and nothing appears on the screen, as if it hasn't turned on. So far it has started working again the next day or after turning it off and on a bunch of times. But it doesn't seem normal to me. If it always worked properly, it's true that it does improve the sweating a lot, but compensatory sweating appears elsewhere, like with the surgeries. In my case I now soak my clothes around the belly and back.

I've had problems with my extreme hand sweating for as long as I can remember.. Until I tried this product.. Was a bit unsure at first but after about 2 weeks of treatments, my dream came true.. My hand sweating is nothing now compared to before.. I'm so happy.. Now you can talk to people without having to think about the hand sweat.. I've been bothered since my youth with hyperhidrosis. Have read and heard about this machine.. But waited as long as possible before investing in one myself. And when I finally got one and started treatments... I was shocked... Noticed after just 2 small treatments that something was happening.. I think it's an absolutely fantastic product... After about a week of daily treatments, everyday life has been totally transformed!! Have undergone a "sympathetic block" under the arms because of over-sweating.... But then I was hard hit on the rest of the body (back, stomach and groin). Now I've had treatments for about 4 weeks...... And I've got a new life... Sweating episodes max 1 time a week on special occasions (vs normally 5–10 times daily). So this.... is something I would most warmly recommend to everyone who might have such problems. A fantastic product!!!

I experienced problems with being warm — in healthcare they said I didn't have hyperhidrosis. After several years of waiting and using creams/roll-ons I came across this. However I experienced problems in more places than those recommended but have tried a bit — it's easy to get burns but I experience the product as good. I experienced results after about a week. I will continue using the product.

Fantastic invention! 14 days of treatments worked wonders for my son's problems with hand sweating.

(Edited) I thought the machine really worked great at the beginning but now I feel it no longer gives the same result and I haven't changed anything in how I do the treatment. For the feet they are 80% sweat-free so I'm satisfied with that result. But my hands are maybe only 40% sweat-free. If you have milder sweating the machine will work, but if you have heavy sweating you maybe won't reach 100% result — but the sweating can still be reduced. I will continue using the machine as I don't have any other alternative.

I think it seems to work, but it's hard to know because it's so hot right now about 28 degrees every day. I use the face mask mostly because my worst is from the neck up. I'll get back to you later.

I can't believe it: IT WORKS! Hi! I'm very happy with this discovery — I've had hyperhidrosis my whole life but extremely exaggerated all over the body and Hidroxa is a great relief. Here in Spain the doctors treated me with their iontophoresis device for 4 weeks to check that it worked. And indeed, it's the best thing that has happened to me. It's a really good system and it works without a doubt. But give it a little time — noticed the difference after about 2 weeks. At first it caused a bit of irritation in the form of itching but I started applying a rich cream and it's been fine since. Have followed the recommendations on how to do it. Have now had the machine for 1 month and use it about every 4th day and my hands and feet don't sweat anymore. Total quality of life👌

Works well! However quite time-consuming since you/I need to do the treatment every day or at least every other day all the time to maintain the effect. Somewhat painful on the top of the hands despite low intensity.

I'm a 17-year-old guy. I've previously had botox in my hands but the effect then only lasted just over a month on the hands. For me this machine works better than botox, because the effect lasts longer as long as you use it regularly. Takes a while before you start noticing an effect but then the effect is at least as good as with botox. A bit time-consuming but for me it's worth it. The yellow electrode pockets fall apart after a while and need to be replaced. The machine can be used alone, but then you shouldn't lift your hands during treatment because it's not very pleasant...

I had surgery for hand sweating at a young age, but since that surgery is no longer done (in Norway) and I'm still very bothered by foot sweating, I decided to try Hidroxa. Already after 6 treatments I noticed a big difference, and now I'm completely dry on the underside of the soles, even during exercise! I'm going to try with a little salt in the water and with socks for treatment on the top of the toes. I've always got very quick answers when I've wondered about something. Very satisfied!

Was a bit doubtful at first but after a month of use I have to say it has actually made a difference. So far I've only used it on the hands, but have much less sweating and mostly dry hands. Feels great. It took a couple of weeks before it started giving results, which I think is because it takes a little time for the hands to get used to it and be able to go up to higher voltage levels. It's simply about having patience and not being afraid to turn up the strength. Completely satisfied.

After 8–9 treatments/days I became completely dry on my hands. I started using Hidroxa just under a month ago. Now I do treatments every third day and am still completely sweat-free. The treatments are very easy to do and painless. So far I've only treated hands but I've noticed that my feet also sweat much less than before. Not sure why but it may be because my hand sweat triggered foot sweat. That's a very desirable side effect. I would absolutely recommend Hidroxa and am completely satisfied with the purchase. I bought this product because my excessive hand sweating was in certain ways limiting my social life, and disturbing while doing sports. I did the treatments on my hands and feet every day for 12 days. I noticed small improvements already after 6 treatments, and significant results after 10 treatments. After the first 12 treatments I started to use it every other day. When writing this review I have completed 18 treatments, and I’m really happy with the result. The positive problem I have today is that my skin is very dry, and I need to moisturize frequently.

I’ve used this machine for 15 months now. I used to get botoloxin injections for my sweaty hands, and now the Hidroxa kit takes care of that. A Trustpilot review on this page made me buy a machine. 10 days and my hands were dry. I run the machine att full effect and in pulse mode. A 20 minute treatment every two days and i’m fine.

As quick and smooth as can be to get a return slip for a defective machine, then a new one arrived so we didn't need to pause the treatment.

Have had problems with sweaty hands for as long as I've lived. At school I remember the pencil slipping in my hand, and the paper becoming wavy where the other hand rested. The best purchase I've ever made — used it for a week and became completely dry on my hands. Have been using the iontophoresis machine for about 3 weeks now and I couldn’t be happier. I purchased it to treat aquagenic wrinkling of the palms, and I had it so bad I had been showering with gloves on for 2 years. Hidroxa has raised my quality of life a great deal. I've been using their iontophoresis machine for hands and feet for 10 months. Initially it took about a month before I started seeing results but it was worth the wait. If the effect is absent or weak you can contact the Sweat Clinic and ask for powder (Robinul/Glycopyrrolate) that can be mixed in the water. Fast delivery and high quality of the machine are also worth mentioning.

I've suffered from hand sweating since my teens and bought an iontophoresis machine in the spring. After nine treatment sessions I became totally sweat-free and since then have only needed to maintain with two treatments a week. I do these on two consecutive days. I only have positive things to say about Hidroxa. Their customer service is excellent — you get answers right away and good help. For as long as I can remember I've had major problems with excessive hand sweating. I've tried both antiperspirant and botox but nothing has given me the desired result. In my profession as a golf pro I had major issues with my hand sweating and it was a very big problem for me. So I'm extremely glad and satisfied that I contacted Hidroxa. I've been using their product since April and am so incredibly satisfied with the result and it has helped me tremendously both in my career and in private life. Ordered a machine at the beginning of May with an open mind, but with 90 days open purchase I figured it couldn't hurt to try. Asked a couple of questions in their chat before ordering and customer service is truly 100%! The machine arrived and I got to work. Kept at it for a couple of weeks and it gave effect, but hurt on the top of the hands so much it was almost unbearable. Unfortunately lost effect as I had to lower the strength to manage the treatments. BUT, after further contact with customer service I got some tips on what you can do differently — among other things I put bicarbonate & salt in the water. I also don't fill the trays with water but only so that the water covers the pockets with the electrodes, then I place my hands on them. It took a little time to experiment but now it works completely flawlessly! After having botox since I was 9 years old this is TOTALLY magical. A thousand thanks for this!
